Our journey in the kingdom of Morocco continues! Essaouira is quite small but symphatetic little town on the east coast just above Agadir. It's known for extensive culture life which is covered in this episode among other peculiar things. Fun!

GRANT FLASH THINGYMABOB FUN!

Long time no see, huh?

I can tell that new content is coming up pretty soon! Big thanks for our new burst, kind of kick to our asses, goes to city of Tampere which gave us a grant! Money is good and receiving it helps us to continue this off-kilter show. In addition, it's also great to be noticed and appreciated by some authority. Someone with at least a bit of power thinks that what we do is important. We can assure that we will put the money in a good use.

What could be better way to use it than buy beers? Lot's of beers! Yes, one of the recently shot episode is Trash Hour review of Finnish budget beers. What? This's what we got the grant for, right?

Here's video we did made during this too long absense: Chuck Norris -related contribution to media circus of presidential elections in Finland. The Finnish version got quite a lot of views in the beginning 2012 when the last round of the election was going on.

As it seems, Chuck Norris managed to get all the help he needed and avoided unemployment. Instead, this fellow, Sauli Niinistö, was elected to president of Finland:

Sauli Niinistö before the presidency. Obviously, because that explains the smile. Being the president of Finland is fucking serious business. No smiling there. Period.

 

 

 

Discasting News: October 2011

Trash Hour: Wing Commander

Story and plot of Wing Commander game series were very acclaimed in the 90's. Even the cutscenes were great with cool Kilrathi characters and legendary actors like Mark Hamill and Malcom McDowell. So they naturally made movie too. If the games were so great, what could go wrong?

 

EVERYTHING! After many games of the franchise in 1999 they finally made Wing Commander movie. Yes, it's common that movies based on games aren't very good but this one particularly is notorius for being VERY bad. No wonder why we picked it to be reviewed. Fun!
